Redundancy intolerance.

Really? Does that mean your body cannot properly digest a particular food? Are you sure about that...or do you want to say it just one more time for good measure? ;)

I have an intolerance, all right...for silly redundancies!

Ha, redundancy intolerance! I love it. I'm going to have to use that. "Please stop repeating yourself. I have a redundancy intolerance."

And, then, of course, the second paragraph is a redundancy of the first. I wonder if the writer ever worked for the government??

This is obviously a minor slip: the author or an editor has rephrased the paragraph, but forgotten to delete the unnecessary text. There is really no need to waste time on this sort of thing, any more than on a simple typo. The person who perpetrated the error is hardly likely to repeat it.

You give no provenance for this image. Is it from something published on paper in a newspaper, journal, magazine, or what? Is it from somewhere on the Internet?

@ MarieC: Hmmm, I wonder if the government has its own branch of the Department of Redundancy Department...

...Well, it's my blog, and if I want to waste time on it, then I *will*, darn it!

"The person who perpetrated the error is hardly likely to repeat it."

Oh, that's hilarious, given the nature of the error.

Also, the picture's from somewhere on the internet, but I generally choose to not say where I find my errors so as not to embarrass the people or companies who made the errors. (This isn't a research paper where I meticulously cite things--it's a humor blog.)
