WTF? No, seriously--WTF?

By now everyone knows that President Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize. And after reading this article about Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize, I'm convinced that there needs to be another award created...

FOR RETARDED WRITERS AND/OR EDITORS.

Because, really, WTF is this?

Anybody care to translate that? I'm clueless as to what exactly that all means...

The good news is that at least we have now found a worthy candidate for the Dumbass Wordsmith Award...

Thanks to KATI M. for spotting this ridiculous article!

That's all a mystery. I just can't get the "onriutontoars".

I guess we'll just need to ask Tutu for a translation of his comments. oy.

"... a relatively young president that anticipates an even greater contribution towards making our world a safer place for all."

It was a bit like playing Mad Gab.

Wow--nice, Michelle! ...Do you do Cryptograms in your spare time? :)

...wow. This is the first time I've seen something literally incomprehensible (for everyone but Michelle) posted here. Just... wow.

I'm actually surprised it's taken *this long* for something so incomprehensible to show up! :)

That's what happens when they use voice to text software. ;)

Haha...in that case, are we sure it wasn't Bob Dylan speaking these words? :)

Uhh. I just...I don't even know what to say.

Apparently neither did Tutu, which is why it looks like he said a bunch of gibberish...LOL. :)

looks like some of the captions we get on the tv...

LOL! I'm glad I don't watch much TV, then...I'd have a fit if I kept seeing that kind of stuff!

I don't do cryptograms, but I do convert my shorthand notes into typed documents :)

After my friend and I tried for a few minutes to decipher this, we came up with "...anticipates an even greater focus on riutontoars akgou world as a safer place for all." Then we gave up and I did a search for Tutu plus the snippets that made sense and got the original quote from a CNS News article (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/55273). Apparently, "...it's an award coming near the beginning of the first term of office of a relatively young president that anticipates an even greater contribution towards making our world a safer place for all."

@ Michelle: That's probably why you have such mad translation skills, then! :)

Satisfiction, thanks for solving that mystery! :)
