TO/TOO/TWO TUESDAY for June 23, 2009

Oh, Kaboodle/Urban Outfitters. I do like your discount codes, but I do not like your grammar. This is a very silly mistake. And do you know what happens when I see silly mistakes like this? I actually get depressed. Which makes me want to shop, because shopping is totally the cure for depression. Which means I'll use your damn discount code even though I don't need, or have room for, any more clothing or cute stuff for my apartment. You and your crappy grammar are driving me to engage in this reckless shopaholic behavior, Urban Outfitters/Kaboodle. It's all your fault!

I love the double whammy here. Though there are so few nowadays who know proper agreement. If you don't like "his or her," find a different way to say it!

Maybe it's all a ploy of theirs?! They know that there are more people like you that get depressed over spelling/grammar errors which then forces them to shop at their stores. LOL! I guess it's a win-win situation for everyone

It *is* all their fault!

That one seems to be one of the more common mistakes...well besides the one in the entry subject line.

I beg to differ. Binge eating also helps depression, thank you very much.

@ Michael: I agree 100%!

@ Phrank: Somehow I doubt that there aren't *tons* of people like me who get this riled up over bad grammar, haha...so I doubt these fools are marketing to those of us who care about such things. But wouldn't it be fun if companies DID market more to people like the smart folks who read this blog as opposed to marketing to the masses (who are not always all that intelligent)? :)

@ Bridgete: Damn right it is! :)

@ LadyStyx: Common or not, it still fills me with rage, haha!

@ Yours Truly: Y'know, one of those things definitely fuels the other. If you binge eat too much, then you'll soon need to shop for new clothes. So no matter what, this scenario will still end in buying new clothes, haha.
