TO/TOO/TWO TUESDAY for June 2, 2009

If I could have pets in my apartment, I'd totally take that sweet-looking kitty in the upper right corner of the poster, or the two mischievous-looking kittens in the second row. One thing I know for certain I wouldn't take, though: Spelling and/or grammar lessons from the well-intentioned goober who made this poster.

YVIE, who found this flyer, says, "Manors
? That's a spoiled dog if it has a manor, let alone manors." I agree. I'm also curious as to what this mysterious "sterlization" is. I know what sterilization is, but "sterlization"? That's a new one to me...

Thanks, YVIE, for finding this funny flyer! (In all seriousness, though, I hope each of those animals gets adopted quickly. See? Your favorite snarky grammar bitch does have a heart!)

Also says "you dog" instead of "your dog." And, "age-appropriate" should probably be hyphenated.
It makes me weep.

Good eye, Sitboaf! I missed those. The "you dog" one makes me chuckle.

I completely forgot to email them about the mistakes. Good thing I waited, now I can add to the list and seem like a bigger jackass. Excellent.

LOL! Don't worry, Yvie. From the looks of it, they'll eventually publish another badly-written flyer that they could use your help fixing. :)

Oh. That one's a nightmare to even look at. While they're fixing the spelling ...they may want to just put all the dog and puppy pix on the same side. It just makes sense to keep all of one species together. Cats on the left and dogs to the right will match the graphic in the middle of the page nicely. They also may want to add an extra little space between better and manners so it doesn't look like one whole word.

Good ideas, LadyStyx! I wish that pet adoption organization would hire you to fix up their flyers and make 'em look all nice and pretty (and well-written)! :)
