HAPPY FATHER'S DAY FROM RED PEN, INC.

I was pleased to see that the body of Express's e-mail blast was error-free, but dismayed to notice an apostrophe error in their subject header. "Dad's Rock"? Is everyone buying their father diamonds or boulders for Father's Day this year?

Happy Father's Day to all the dads who read this blog! And, of course, a very special "Happy Father's Day!" to my own dad, PAPA GRAMMARPHILE, who will be attending a Phillies game today. Cole Hamels will be pitching...therefore, I will be squealing/shrieking/screaming...and I probably should have thought ahead and bought my dad some earplugs for Father's Day. He's gonna need 'em!

It really makes me chuckle to think of my dad wearing anything from Express...or any dad, for that matter...unless your dad is under 30, very fit, and tan. :) My dad is kind of the opposite of all those things! But he still rocks!

lol. Well have fun with your dad! =)

*refuses to comment on the ad's subject header due to the fact the first thought in my mind was ~REALLY~ off-color and I'm trying to stay respectable with my thoughts due to it being Father's Day Sunday*

Did I leave the comment I thought I left here? I seem to remember telling you to have fun with your dad...maybe I meant to but got distracted...

My friend Carrie forwarded me that e-mail for Apostrophe Catastrophes, but I forgot to post it. Oops. She also pointed out that the dude in the e-mail is way hotter than anyone's dad.

Go Daddy Go? Dad's Rock? Yeah my comment is too perverted for a Non-Hump Day grammar post hahaha

@ Yours Truly: Haha, yeah, my dad would never wear anything from Express, either! (In fact, I hardly know any guys, fathers or not, who shop there. Luckily I shop there enough to make up for ALL of them...)

@ Bridgete: I did! :) Would've been more fun if the Phillies could've won, though...

@ LadyStyx: It's not Father's Day anymore, at the time of me writing this comment, so c'mon, how 'bout a little off-color joke now? :)

@ Bridgete: You did indeed leave it, but since I moderate comments, and this was the first chance I really had to moderate them, it only showed up on the page now. :) (Don't worry, you aren't losing your mind, haha!)

@ Becky: Hell, that dude is hotter than ANY guy I have EVER seen actually shopping in Express!

Aha! Okay. Good, glad I'm not losing my mind...yet... ;)
