FOODIE FRIDAY for May 15, 2009

Who's hungry for Chinese food? YVIE found a bunch of Engrishy mistakes from a take-out menu and combined them into one picture for our viewing pleasure. My favorite error here is the "light greasy" in which their food is cooked. Which mistake is your favorite? (There are so many to choose from...)

Thanks, YVIE, for spotting these funny little mistakes!

I don't think that the "Chow Main" is a mistake. I just think that they're making it clear that this ins't the "Chow Secondary". I could be wrong.

Hahaha! That's a clever explanation. I'll go with it! :)

The term "light greasy" is now being used in my office whenever possible. We actually found even better mistakes later, it was like some sort of engrish treasure-trove.

I have to go with "light greasy" as my favorite here.

At least it's not "heavy greasy," right? :)

I would love to foward some of the more interesting emails I receive at work. It's a Japanese company, and naturally, there are many Japanese people in the office. Some of the emails are so bad I am unable to figure out what they are talking about.

If you find any e-mails that you want to send in, I'd love to use them--and of course, I'd black out the name of your company so you don't get into trouble. ;)
