Customers vs. costumers...

This post is dedicated to everyone who needs a good chuckle to cheer 'em up after they finished their taxes (or SHOULD have finished their taxes!) yesterday. :)

The lovely ChicagoLady found this amusing and timely error. This is not the first time we've talked about the customer/costumer mistake here on Red Pen, Inc. I'm not sure why this error is so prevalent (I'm guessing part of it is because spell-check won't help you in this situation), but hey--at least this time around, we get a funny picture to look at. It's a fashion FAIL and a spelling FAIL all rolled into one!

Thanks, ChicagoLady, for spotting this mistake!

At least this dude has a decent costume. There's this tax service just down the road from our place that's had a person in a cheesy Lady Liberty costume for months. It looked like a Muppet hopped up on crack... yeah, it looked THAT bad.

The caption writer totally had costumes on the brain with this one.

@ LadyStyx: Hahaha...oh, c'mon now, cracked-out Muppets seem like SO much fun! :)

@ Bridgete: I guess he stared too hard at the picture of the costumed person while he was writing his caption, and it messed with his mind (and his writing skills)... :)

And thank YOU for sending it! :)

Perhaps he really is looking for costumers if he owns the business that puts the hucksters outside places.

He may need additional staff to get all his street-walkers/picketers ready to head out to their sandwich board jobs. I'm just saying....

Good point! Unlikely as though it seems, this COULD be true. :)
