TO/TOO/TWO TUESDAY for March 3, 2009

Actually, what I bet she said was that she'd "get [her] son to kick your ass," but the idiot reporter wrote the wrong spelling of your/you're.

While Ms. Cruz was busy being "nabbed" for her antics, I do hope this reporter at the NY Post was nabbed by the grammar police!

Thanks, David! These types of errors can truly be horrific. ;)

I would call that adding insult to injury.

At first I thought the phrase "in Coney Island" sounded strange. But then I looked up information about Coney Island, and discovered that not only is it a peninsula, but there's also a neighborhood of the same name.

The mailman probably wasn't literally IN Coney Island, he was in the neighborhood of Coney Island.

I need a drink! LOL

Ha! I live pretty near Coney Island, and I didn't know that! (Then again, I'm a recent transplant to this area...) You learn something new every day, huh? Thanks for this interesting bit of info, ChicagoLady! :)
