MISSPELLING MONDAY (1 of 2) for March 9, 2009

Oh, what a difference one little d makes...

ChicagoLady, who sent in this one, says:
Was it white powder, or white power? I think our president might have to ask Congress to pass a law prohibiting white power from being sent in the mail.

My question is--how on earth did somebody figure out how to fit one of those scary, bigoted dudes who wears a white pointed hat into an envelope? And then mail him? Without attracting the attention of the US Postal Service? Pretty damn crazy, if you ask me.

If I had a choice between receiving white power or white powder in the mail, I'm not sure which I'd choose. Both of them are probably the same degree of sucky. I think I'd much rather stick with the assortment of crap mail I normally receive, thankyouverymuch.

Thanks, ChicagoLady, for finding this one!

I should try to not come here before coffee. I swear I looked at that and thought, but neither of those words are misspelled...

Um. Yea.

Yes, I've had a few by now and my brain feels so much smarter already. :)

You should have seen my original comment. Fortunately, I read back over it and realized it made absolutely no sense before posting it.

Maybe they made a little figurine. I'm thinking toothpicks and tissue. But maybe toothpicks are too brown. Q-tips? ;)

Yeah, those little klan guys get their shorts all in knots when you break out the packing tape. You just have to be quick and make sure you stuff enough packing peanuts in their mouths before you tape 'em up. Oh, and don't forget the bubble wrap.

Haha...glad the coffee's working its magic now, April! :)

Q-tips!!! LOL. Bridgete, drinking tea while reading that comment was not my smartest decision today, haha! :)

In related news, Illinois Congressman Bobby Rush is calling for a boycott of the Wall Street Journal.

I kind of wonder how one would send 'white power' in the mail. In the end it just makes me think of -> http://www.tshirthell.com/funny-shirts/white-flour/

LOL@ that t-shirt! Good thing I'd put down my cup of tea before coming on site.

I almost had a snort-the-tea-out-the-nose moment earlier today, too. Close call. Happens to the best of us! ;)

LOL @ Winona. If it wasn't Bobby Rush, it would be Jesse Jackson Jr.
