HUMP DAY GRAMMAR for March 25, 2009

Gross: Typing "under ware" instead of underwear.

Grosser: Misspelling the word etiquette.

Grossest: The thought of skid marks in edible underwear. Ewww!

(Hope none of you guys were eating breakfast while reading this post!)

Happy Hump Day, everyone! ;)

My thoughts exactly!

I kind of like "ediquette"; maybe they were going for a pun with that (but I doubt it). I don't really get the so-called answer to that question either. Is she suggesting going around the skid marks? Blech!

Gross...

@ The Punctuator: Yeah, I was confused by the answer to the question, too. I just figured I was too punchy to really grasp it (I had just gotten done drafting a fantasy baseball team when I picked this picture to use for this post)! :)

@ Bridgete: Gross, indeed. But I laughed so hard at this that I couldn't *not* use it! :)

That is almost too gross to think about. But wouldn't it make sense, that if you're going to put on some edible underwear, you won't be wearing them long enough to put skid marks? And also that you'd have enough forethought to make sure you were really clean? You wouldn't need any edible underwear very long if your significant other found skid marks on them.

Very logical, ChicagoLady; I agree with all your points (especially that last one)! :)

Beware the edible under ware...failure to do so may result in world wide destruction, and worst of all - bad grammar...

@ Dave: In this case, I think I'd argue that I'd rather deal with bad grammar than seeing someone's skid marks. :)

Oh gosh. That's wrong on too many levels. Ew.

I came to say what ChicagoLady said. Since my work here is done, I'll just vomit now.

"Ew" is right. Vomit-inducing, indeed.

I was gonna be really awful in the post and just have one line that said "That wasn't chocolate"...haha. (I have such a warped sense of humor when I'm punchy...)
