An em-bear-assing homonym error...

I wasn't home to watch Desperate Housewives last night, so to any of you who did watch it...can you tell me if Edie died a grisly death or a grizzly death (the former being at the hands of her husband, the latter being at the...paws of a big bear)? The article above makes it seem like it's Edie's husband who offs her, but then there's that word grizzly, misleading me into thinking that perhaps Edie got eaten by a big ol' bear...

I don't watch that show. But it does say he went hunting in the woods. Maybe he was too late and she did get eaten by a bear. =P

Edie's husband started strangling her but stopped... she left the house in her car, crying, on her cell phone, almost hit a guy in the street (don't remember his name, played Charlotte's first husband on Sex & The City), and then hit a telephone pole. THAT still didn't kill her! She did however step out of the car, into a puddle of water, and got electrocuted by the power line. I think she's still alive though. Cliffhanger!

hahaha.

The way Edie dies (or is presumed to be dead at this point) was quite shocking. Pun intended.

I'm not sure if you want to know more so I'll leave it at that.

Thank you, ladies! :)

Of course I couldn't wait until I get home to watch the episode and find out what happened, so I just read the recap on ew.com...

@ Bridgete: From the sounds of it, the bears were the ONLY thing in the woods that weren't trying to kill her, haha.

@ Kara: I'm with you; I don't believe she's dead yet. I didn't believe it the last time she was supposed to be dead, either.

@ April: Thanks for trying to not give away any spoilers. I'm impatient, so I just went and spoiled it for myself! :)

Yeah, seems like she's still alive... We shall see! I don't really like this plotline very much.

I'm not a huge fan of it, either. It just feels tired, you know?

I generally love the Bree/Orson scenes, though, and any scene that Mrs. McLusky is in is always hilarious. :)

I've really backed off watching Housewives lately, though. The more I watch Lost, the more Housewives seems lacking in comparison. Makes me sad--a few years ago, it was my favorite show!

I watched only 1-1.5 seasons of the show and it didnt really hild my attention much even when I WAS watching it.

However, is it possible that he goes hunting in the woods for her in a GRIZZLY costume? In that case, the quote would be absolutely correct!

LOL! I haven't heard that Edie's husband is wearing a grizzly costume while he's in the woods, but anything is possible on Desperate Housewives... ;)
