Well, they were right about the "issues" part...

Is it wrong of me to be less worried about U.S./Mexico border issues than I am about the issue of how Yahoo desperately needs to hire someone, anyone, who can freakin' proofread?

I get that Sates won't come up as being "wrong" when you use spellchecker, but if you actually look at what you've written (or have someone else check over what you've written), I'm pretty sure you'd notice that error right away. It just doesn't look right. Sigh. (I do a lot of sighing here lately.)

By the way--it's the weekend. You must have a little free time on your hands. Use it to go try to win a thong by saying something funny. You know you want to!

Hey. At least they didnt make the same error that I constantly make. My brain goes faster than my fingers, so of course the poor digits cannot keep up and end up all twisted. A good 9 times out of 10, I'll proof read my work and find out that I no longer live in the United States but the Untied States. Bad enough when I catch it, but when someone else does (namely the students in a school that I had been working in at the time)it's a tad embarrassing.

The "Untied States"! I love it! :)

Aww, she beat me to the "Untied States" joke!

I do actually see that rather frequently among law students/lawyers. Again just typing fast...but it always makes me giggle.

Haha! Shhh, don't tell--but I make those sorts of typos all the time. I can't tell you how many times I've nearly sent out e-mails that say "ebcause" instead of "because" somewhere in them. :) Thank goodness I remember to proofread before I hit "send" (usually!)...
