I guess that's just Facebook being Facebook...

Oh, Facebook, your silly little ads continue to make me want to scream. You want us to take an IQ test, yet you can't even create an ad without making an apostrophe catastrophe!

I'm pretty sure that you, or I, or even Manny himself, would beat this ad writer in an IQ test. Just a hunch.

The Phillies' pitchers and catchers report in 2 days! *squeal* In just 2 more days I'll have an excuse to talk about Cole Hamels again!

I don't think it's Facebook's fault. As with Google AdWords, individual users create their own ads: headline, body copy, etc. Facebook is apparently not responsible for spell check.

You'd think *somebody* would want to make sure these ads look professional, right? Apparently not...

Catchers...that makes me think of Giovanni. Mmmmmm, now that's one cute catcher for the Cubs.

Uh-oh, I don't think I've seen a picture of him...I'm gonna have to Google him! Thanks for the heads-up that he's a cutie! ;)

I can understand the "avg" bit... stupid, but understandable.

However, Facebook has given us the best ad I've ever seen online. It was an ad for a t-shirt website: "The hottest, hippest, most hilarious shirts this side of sanity. Alliteration aside, amplify your ability to acquire an above average audience by answering our ad."

I have an almost amorous affinity about any alliteration, so I absolutely love that ad.

Agreed--alliteration's astoundingly awesome! ;)
