A rare football-related post on Red Pen, Inc...

I'm obviously much more of a baseball girl than a football girl, but I couldn't help talking a little bit about football, seeing as how a) the Iggles are playing a very important game against the Giants today, and b) the grammar in this football-related blurb is just too awful to ignore. Somebody needs to teach this writer some neither/nor rules. Yikes!

Fly, Eagles, fly! (And hey, Eagles fans...no more of this kind of crappy grammar, please...got it? You make the rest of us Philly sports fans look like idiots.)

Yeah, that sentence is a mess. Nice catch.

And let's go Birds!

I don't know who to root for today, I dislike both the Iggles and the G-Men. Don't hold it against me, but I'm a die hard Cowboys fan.

Also, that was some really bad grammar you found!

@ ChicagoLady: Those Philly/Dallas football games are always crazy, aren't they? It's rare that I watch a football games, but I generally at least take a peek when that matchup's happening. Their rivalry makes the game that much more exciting!

"Iggles" is Philadelphian for "Eagles". :) (We Philly folks talk a little funny.)
