Oh, the irony...

So I'm not sure what's funnier: The joke's punchline (this card opens up to reveal a picture of Dubya saying "How many is a Brazillian"?) or the fact that whoever created this card was mocking somebody else's stupidity, yet he couldn't figure out how to spell Brazilian properly. He misspelled it twice--once on the inside of the card, once on the outside. One l, dammit, not two!

Must not be a Hallmark card.

I would actually almost consider forgiving this one, if only because it's trying to reference the *illion words.

*shrug*

@ ChicagoLady: Most definitely not a Hallmark card! :)

@ EVula: I thought about that, but the joke is based on how the words *sound*...and the word "Brazilian" sounds the same way as the pseudo-word "Brazillian." They could have spelled it correctly; it wouldn't have changed the sound, which means it wouldn't have changed the joke...right? (Am I making sense? I've been a little ill today, so I may very well be talking gibberish...)

No, no, you make sense; like I said, I can almost forgive the misspelling, but can't for that very reason. (and if they were truly trying to go for the *illion reference in the spelling, it would have been "brazillion", which would have killed the joke and looked all kinds of stupid)

We're agreeing, albeit in a very roundabout manner. :)

Oh, yeah--"Brazillion" would have looked totally retarded...like Dubya himself had tried to spell it, perhaps. ;)

Former President George Bush...Those are my FOUR FAVORITE WORDS. Funny considering this is exactly the same sort of idiotic comment he would have been likely to utter during a 'speech'.

Those are awesome words, indeed! :)
