HUMP DAY GRAMMAR for December 24, 2008

Oh, brother! Leave it to the Queen of All Misspellings to misspell brothels, making it read like brothers instead.

Yeah, I know, today's HDG entry is a tame one. But it's Christmas Eve, and I don't want to find a bag of coal in my stocking tomorrow morning, so I won't talk about the normal HDG topics like butt plugs, boot sex, etc. (It would not be the first time yours truly found a bag of coal in her stocking...so this year, she's trying--although usually in vain--to be good.) ;)

Thank you for considering mama grammarphile's delicate sensibilities when posting today's HDG entry. Santa and Mrs. Claus are equally appreciative of your holiday gesture. As a result, if there had been coal in your stocking, it surely has been removed as a reward for your generosity.

Haha. I've still never forgotten that one time where "Santa" put coal in my stocking and I cried for, like, hours. I'm glad that Santa and Mrs. Claus approve of today's Hump Day Grammar choice and that I will not get any big, bad rocks in my stocking this year!

Why, you ask? Because that particular blogger can't spell or type to save his life. That's why. :)
