My eyes hurt after reading this quote.

So PAT sent this article over, noting that although the error wasn't all that bad, the guy quoted in the article says the one thing that all English teachers hate to hear. I am not an English teacher, but when I read this, I swear I felt my eyes burning.

The funny part is that I didn't even have to make this error red on my own like I usually do for this site. This little instance of grammatically-poor speech is linked up to some other article, and apparently that site uses red for its links. (Oh, how I wish that linked text would direct a reader to the website for Eats, Shoots & leaves, or something like that...)

Thanks to PAT for this one! (By the way, if you're a football fan and looking to read some more football-related articles, hit up www.FanIQ.com! There's plenty of good stuff to read over there!)

It is possible to do good. Jesus, for example, did good. This chap did well. I suppose you could do well at doing good. Or be well good at doing good (sorry).

Very true, JD! And here, you have done a well good job at doing good by making the point that people can do good as opposed to do well. :)
