HUMP DAY GRAMMAR for November 26, 2008

The Yahoos have spoken again! Not only do they have some strange ideas about fun sexual activities (they couldn't have come up with a better "best answer" than that?), but they also have homonym issues. Illicit and elicit are two different words, dammit! And since when did funner become a word at all?

Happy Hump Day, everyone...and may you all be so fortunate as to engage in Hump Day activities with people who are less stupid (and are more fun and creative) than these Yahoos!

Screw the typos.

All this does is remind me to take a f*cking shower when I get home and not at the hotel.

Hey, it's Hump Day, and this is Hump Day Grammar, so "screw the typos" fits right in with the theme...

Message boards are just about the best place in the world to see how NOT to write English.

Indeed, Carlos! (Which is why I tend to stay away from message boards...unless I'm *hunting for* bad grammar to use on this site...)

Since when did sex games involve a shower curtain, baby oil and the dollar store? And a hotel visit for that matter? I think that is the real question here. Doesn't the hotel visit defeat the purpose of the dollar store visit? I don't know about 'funner' but it sure isn't cost effective..

I'm guessing the hotel room is because the person doesn't want to get their own home all oiled up...? But you're right, this isn't particularly cost-effective...nor does it really sound like a lot of fun!
