MISSPELLING MONDAY for October 27, 2008

How can I be talking about football at a time like this--a time when the Phillies are up 3-1 in the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays? When Cole "The Hotness" Hamels is set to take the mound later today to pitch game 5 at home? When the Phillies, the love of my freakin' life, are on the verge of--no, wait, I'm not gonna say it. We Philly folks are superstitious--don't wanna jinx anything or piss off the baseball gods by prematurely stating anything, you know?

So I suppose I'll talk a tiny bit of football to distract myself from talking--or squealing--about baseball. KEITH was kind enough to send me a misspelling/typo for today's installment of MISSPELLING MONDAY. He found a football article talking about one of last week's games, and guess what the writer forgot? The n in the word alternative. Silly sports writer!

Thanks, KEITH, for sending in this little boo-boo. LET'S GO, PHILLIES!
