Oh, baby...

Yeah, you're gonna tell me that the reason this baby otter's eyes are closed is because she's so newly-born, but I disagree. I think she's closing her eyes so she doesn't have to look at this picture's caption, in which she's referred to as a...pub.

Besides being a place to drink, is a pub a word that's a cross between a pup and a cub, used when a writer can't figure out which of the two words to use...or is it just a bad typo? ;) (I suspect that baby otters are actually called cubs, since that's how they're referred to later on in the caption, but then again, can we really trust anything they say in this caption? They obviously don't proofread, so I'd be really surprised if they fact-check...)

Hey it could be worse...it could say pubes instead of pubs haha. That makes it several orders of magnitude worse..

Indeed, it could always be worse!

Poor sweet pub! I'd close my eyes to the typo atrocity, too!

That poor little "pub" is too cute to have awful typos hanging around her!

Who determined that they have a maximum of 21 centimeters?

Besides, you seem to have ignored that they are oriental so what makes you think their eyes are actually closed?
