TO/TOO/TWO TUESDAY for August 19, 2008

There are two major, major, MAJOR snafus going on here:

1) The homonym error. Usually homonym errors are your/you're or to/too/two related here, but THIS one is muscle/mussel, which is way more interesting than any of our usual homonym problems!

2. The agreement error. The sign advertising just one muscle is hanging above an entire plate of mussels (multiple mussels!). Muscle = singular. Mussels = plural. Even if they'd used the right word on the sign, if they'd have kept it singular, they'd still have screwed it up!

Merci to JUSTIN for spotting this one!

Ooh, sharp eyes, Melissa--I didn't even notice that these things *weren't actually mussels*! (Apparently I've been hit with the blind/idiot stick today. Sigh.)

I'll tell ya what, I don't know or care what they were, they looked disgusting to me!

Although the sushi at this place was phenomenal. If you get the chance to get out this way to visit I'll take you...if you eat sushi that is.

Yeah, they look pretty gross to me, too. I'd much rather mock 'em than eat 'em!

I'm not a fan of sushi (it frightens me!), but I've never been one to turn down going to a Chinese buffet--I'm in! :)
