Here's a big shout-out/thank you to three eagle-eyed Red Pen, Inc. readers--MIKE, MAGGIE, and LAUREN--who all spotted this error on the McCain website/store! Note the ill-placed apostrophe in the phrase "STUDENT'S FOR MCCAIN"--leading me to wonder exactly how many students support McCain. Is it just one student who supports McCain (and this is his pen)? Certainly it can't be students (plural!) who support him, or else this pen is a big fat LIE, right?
I'm really hoping I don't find any similar mistakes on the Obama website--I hope his campaign team has hired a proofreader! I will cry if there's any misapostrophized/misspelled/grammatically retarded Obama gear out there...
