Punctuation bomber in the Bronx!

On Saturday, I went to my very first Yankees game. (I'm a Phillies girl, of course, but the Yankees are my second favorite team.) I got to see Yankee Stadium for the first time ever, and after the Yankees pummeled the crap out of the Angels, I wandered around the streets by the ballpark and found this little group of punctuation problems on a sign at one of the Yankees-related shops. Random hyphenization? Misapostrophizaton? Ugh! Luckily, spotting A-Rod driving out of the players' parking lot was almost enough to distract me from the heinousness of this sign. Almost.

I'm bothered by the part where it looks like they're advertising "T" along with the hats, shirts, and jackets. They could have formatted that better.

Ha! Apparently I was so perturbed by the horrible apostrophization, I didn't even notice the weird punctuation around the "T"! Thanks for noticing that, Finchstalker! :) That *is* really annoyingly formatted!

I guess I will never get to go to Yankee Stadium. Alas. It's probably just as well, though. I would probably get in a fight with an evil Yankees fan. Do you think A-Rod is attractive? I don't, but maybe that's just because I hate his personality.

Hey, Becky! It's a shame you'll never get to go to a game at Yankee Stadium. I liked visiting it because there's sooooo much history there. :) I think A-Rod's attractive--he has really pretty eyes. I don't know much about his personality, but I do get a chuckle out of the rumors of him having an affair with Madonna! Everyone I know seems to think Jeter is cute--I think he's goofy-looking. In terms of cute Yankes, Nady's not too bad and neither is Mussina (even though he's kinda old), and I think Johnny Damon cleans up rather nicely. I used to loathe Damon when he was on the Sox (I always said that he looked like Sasquatch then!), but now that he's on my fantasy baseball team and doing a hell of a job, I'm cool with him. :)

Ooh, I forgot about Mike Mussina. He is very cute. And as much as I don't like to admit it, I think Johnny Damon is pretty hot, too. Derek Jeter's head is a strange shape, IMHO.

Mussina was the one pitching at the game I saw Saturday. In the first inning, I turned to my boss (who was there with me) and said, "It's the first inning! Why are they booing already?" She laughed and say, "They're not sayin 'boo'--they're sayin 'Moooooose'!" Haha. Philly sports fans like me are used to hearing "boo" all the damn time...

Yeah, Jeter's head does look really funny. I just don't understand the appeal. Are there any cute Red Sox I should know about? :)

Haha, yeah, we have that with "Yoooook!"

Hmm... the Red Sox aren't very cute this year. I used to like Dustin Pedroia, but he's really getting bald. Clay Bucholz is cute in a 15-year-old sort of way. Same with Jacoby Ellsbury.

I remember thinking Ellsbury was cute! I'm not a fan of Pedroia--I hear he's a jackass (is that true?).

I've never heard that he's a jackass, but he probably is. Oh, well....
