MISSPELLING MONDAY for August 4, 2008

This might be the most frightening MISSPELLING MONDAY post you'll ever see. Here's a picture of a website that displays ratings of schools. It looks like parents vote on which schools are good ones. It also looks like some of these parents are idiots. What's up with their spelling and grammar skills (or lack thereof)? The kids aren't the only ones who need some education here. (This might be a very bold thing to say, but I'm convinced that whoever rated Pearsontown Elementary School shouldn't even have kids. Look at that atrocious string of spelling/homonym/word errors! Should such a person even be allowed around a young, impressionable child who, presumably, will need to learn to start writing properly soon? My opinion is a resounding NO, but then again, I'm a catty little grammar snob, so take it with a grain of salt and a tiny bit of tongue-in-cheek-ness.)

Thanks to MARTY for sending in this amusing (but scary) picture!
