It's as simple as *copy and paste*, you know...

By day (like at my real job, which pays me, whereas being a grammar addict blogger the rest of the time does not pay me), I'm a webmaster. By nature, webmasters are often slackers. We like to do stuff the easiest way possible. Naturally, this involves a lot of copying and pasting. Copy/paste, copy/paste, copy/paste. This trick is especially handy when dealing with URLs. If I'm working on a web page I'm designing and want to link to something, I'm not gonna type out a URL right onto my page in the middle of coding. If I'm linking to another page, I've likely got that page minimized at the bottom of my computer already. Why not open the window, copy the URL, and then paste it into the code of the web page? It reduces the amount of errors you make (you can't make a typo in a web address if you copy/paste it straight from that web page). Apparently the people who wrote the caption for this yucky picture haven't caught on to the copy/paste technique yet, though... I hear that Bigfoot's body has been found, but what is this Bogfoot creature that somebody's out there searching for, hmmm? ;)
