This is how kids get edumacated in the boondocks...

Let me get this straight: four teachers wrote this very brief memo, and they all managed to ignore the missing apostrophe, homonym error, and atrociously-written content of the letter? Somebody needs to start teaching the teachers some decent English!

Furthermore, I just looked at the picture again, and realized that I was so stunned by the other mistakes in the letter that I forgot to note the horrific beginning part of the letter: "Next week we will learning the letter 'Pp.'" 1. It's be learning, for goodness sakes!; 2. It's the letter P, not Pp. (Is Pp a letter? I think not. It's two letters.)

Gracias to LIZ for sending in this picture. It's LIZ's birthday--she's a Valentine's Day baby! LIZ, I hope you have a fabulous birthday and that your boss takes it easy on you today! ;)

Yet another reason why I home school my kids.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who is offended by the gross grammatical errors that seem to be the norm these days.

Keep up the rant.
