It's a slow news day here (#1)...


It's a slow news day here in Grammarphile land. It's Friday, I'm feeling mighty slackerlicious, my mind's on the supreme awesomeness of last night's Lost episode, and it's snowing outside. Work-related efficiency? Totally not happening today.


These are some pretty common, simple errors, but they're amusing nonetheless. In picture #1, we have the apostrophe error that makes something look possessive when it's really not supposed to be possessive. In picture #2, we have a word that has two of its letters transposed. (Do you pronounce that "wack-thing"? Or "wok-thing"?)


I think this landscaper needs a decent proofreader before he's allowed to do any more power-point presentations...
