A pile of grammar goof-ups from waaaay up north!

I have never seen so much red pen in one place. Seriously. This piece of work comes to us from Womannorth, who has recently moved to the northern edge of the Northwest Territories in Canada's far north. She says:

"The town council of our small town (~3500 people) publishes a monthly newsletter, which is distributed free of charge to all residents with a postal box. When we moved here, I was glad to begin receiving the newsletters in order to become more familiar with our new home. However, I was horrified at the poor grammar in the newsletters and I couldn't help but edit the grammar as I read."

Clearly, Womannorth is a kindred spirit--and a damn good editor! I'm glad Womannorth marked this newsletter up in red pen and then sent it to me--I may have had an aneurysm if I'd had to view this in its non-red, unedited form! You can visit Womannorth's blog, which is about life in her new hometown, by clicking here!

Thanks so much for the post. I wasn't sure if you'd be able to show the entire newsletter. (There were just sooooo many grammatical mistakes!) I've reposted the newsletter on my blog and have directed my readers your way as well.
