Technology these days...

Well, golly gee! I remember when we used a piece of string and two tin cans to talk to one another. Then came the invention of that there telly-phone. And now there's this new-fangled technology where I can find a doctor using knee and hip implants! Do I hold the knee up to my ear and use the hip to dial the doctor, or vice versa?

Or, perhaps, is this a misplaced modifier? Did the writer intend that phrase to mean "Find a doctor who uses long-lasting knee and hip implants"? That seems more logical, but a whole lot less fun to look at.
