I wonder how much those gioffs are going for on Ebay...

Y'know, the reason I've been so excited about the impending holidays is because I can't wait to receive my gioff. Gioffs are the hot item this season. Screw the Wii, the Playstation 3, and the TMX Elmo...I WANT MY GIOFF. Apparently 93% of consumers want theirs, too. Not that any of us actually know what one is, mind you, but they're clearly in high demand.

I suspect that gioff is a very creative misspelling of gift, but what the hell do I know? I suppose if I'm lucky, I'll find out on Christmas morning. Maybe Santa will have left me a big, fat, juicy gioff in a gigantic, ribbon-adorned box under my tree. Or, more likely, he'll have left me a big, fat lump of coal in my stocking for being more snarky than nice this year.

I can't help but notice that the picture says "gioof" and you spelled it "gioffs." It's possible that the proper plural of gioof is gioffs, but I just wanted to make sure.

Don't worry, Matt--I'm fairly confident I pluralized "gioff" properly. It's about the *only* correct thing that's been done to that word... ;) --N.
